Controlled breathing or meditation may help you control your nerves and just staying in the moment and not over analysing your sparring bouts may help you in the fight. Good luck with your test!

Charles, Coincidence indeed! Thanks for the book recommendation.

Kamil, Seems like there are several books on this kind of subject. Dr McGonigal also talks about willpower being like a muscle - becoming fatigued with use. Thanks for another recommendation. He mentions that willpower, like any muscle, weakens the more you use it in the short term, but strengthens the more you use it in the long term. Good read. I will be checking out both Willpower Instinct and Power of Intuition if they get such good testimonials from you two.Kamilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12216057008638038108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361443425638782419.post-65058036918799652352013-03-20T17:21:18.323+00:002013-03-20T17:21:18.323+00:00Coincidence or Co incide, reading your post seems ...Coincidence or Co incide, reading your post seems apropos since I just started reading about intuition. How to turn that off so I can access the pre-frontal cortex so I can think clearly, and then how to switch back and forth easily to the part of my brain that controls my flow and sparring reactions? HELP!!! the test is nearly upon me!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
