There are a bunch of martial arts movies to watch this 2012 like Haywire, The Kick, Rurouni Kenshin (which is what I like the most), Monkey King: Wreaking Havoc in Heavenly Palace (this one would be in 3D, the most awaited one by many) and Tom Yum Goong 2.Saundra Toshhttp://www.closecombattraining.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361443425638782419.post-19568112795543779462012-03-14T07:31:41.950+00:002012-03-14T07:31:41.950+00:00Hi Jim, 6 months? I know sports physios in N. Wales or down here in Surrey but I guess that's no good.

I have been recovering from a back injury for some of 2010 and 2011 but now back in training more regularly again and have started doing patterns again (tkd) every day for 3 weeks.

I have specific goals relating to improvement of all basic kicks, and especially again of stances (such as practising turning of feet and what exercises I will do to help practise)

I am planning to train regularly over next two months and move towards black tag (even if don't mkae a grading). I am revisiting diet too - now that I have been training more often, to make sure there is a good balance which I haven't achieved in 2011.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361443425638782419.post-3770492554847633402011-12-30T17:23:11.682+00:002011-12-30T17:23:11.682+00:00I also wanted to attend that seminar but I have a ...I also wanted to attend that seminar but I have a squad training session on the same date.Righttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16891988394046586078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361443425638782419.post-13244962777592783862011-12-30T16:52:37.001+00:002011-12-30T16:52:37.001+00:00Hi Rig, I'm glad to hear that physio is helpin...Hi Rig, I'm glad to hear that physio is helping your shoulder, makes me think it might help me as well so I am currently looking out for a good sports physio at the moment.

The Iain Abernethy course I've got in mind is in April...Sue Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16008609198511182782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361443425638782419.post-46453993801088214362011-12-30T09:48:58.806+00:002011-12-30T09:48:58.806+00:00Hey Sue, I've also got long term shoulder issu...Hey Sue, I've also got long term shoulder issues and visiting a physio really helped reduce the pain I had, unfortunately my shoulder will never be 100% better due to deep nerve damage and I cannot (and was told not to) do full push-ups and excessive pad work is very painful.

I also agree that training outside of your own association can be very beneficial and attending seminars such as Iain Abernethy's are a fantastic way to improve (I'll be at Iain's seminar that Lee Taylor is hosting in Feb)Righttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16891988394046586078noreply@blogger.com
